Full office today everyone busy hustling with the common purpose of bringing the ‘money’ in.
RJ tying up a few tenants and received two holding deposit. HB invoicing for survey reports and i’ve just got another property ‘under offer’. Good start for the week, BS just arranging the keys for a new property to let. So it’s ‘all go’. Property market not the easiest but moral is good..!
Been liaising with a landlord abroad in Vietnam, he’s not happy that i’ve turned him down to manage his property even though we were letting it for the previous owner for 7 years. The new owner having just recently acquired this property from us has been nothing but a headache throughout the purchase process. For me that’s the ‘writing on the wall’. With over 200 properties on our books I now try to minimise any stress coming into the office. Sometimes its not all about the commission. I decline his offer to take his property on. People will thank me later 🙂
Things have quietened down at the Harrow flat. Let’s hope it stays that way.
Vendor at 12MP is in a eager to sell. We received an offer of £510,000 on the very first viewing, since then no other higher offers. Originally marketed at £550,000 then reduced to £529,950. I can tell she seriously considering it. The market is tough not the greatest time to sell with impending Brexit and the general election etc. I will ring her to discuss.
Just picked up the keys of a lovely 3-bedroom house in Neasden London. With a through lounge, spacious kitchen and fitted bathroom its been recently refurbished and located the next road up to a popular school. Ideal for a family, the landlord is open to private and DSS tenants. Its available from the start of the month and Ive got a lovely family in mind.
Over 20 finance leads over the last 6 weeks, not bad, let’s keep pushing.
Mohammed of Pestop London shows me some video footage of a rat that he caught, it’s humongous the size of a cat. Mutant rats have arrived. I cannot stand rodents. Spiders are slightly better lol.
Noticed a drop of private tenants registering compared to the increase in housing claimant tenants registering over the past week. Will keep an eye on that.
